★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Veranta taverna is a pleasant surprise on such a remote Aegean island where the population is only 250 in winter and can explode to 10 times that number in summer. But at the moment it is perfect, the food and wine is good basic Greek cooking and the children of the island play outside untill late.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generaly was good , but there was no consistency each day we visited . Souvlaki one day was good , next day was mediocre . In general I was satisfied though, big minus , they did bot accept credit card , the excuse was it was malfunctioning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice taverna by the port! We had fried squid, grilled octopus greek salad, melitzanosalata (eggplant paste) and kolokythokeftedes with tzatziki (zuccini balls). The order was ready very quickly and we enjoyed the good quality food! I highly recommend to visit. We wantrd to try also the lobster pasta but unfortunately they did not have it.
