Went to Blue elephant last night with some friends and will come again. The food is delicious cause there is a lot of choices!!! The service was really professional,all the staff is complaisant and smiley.Thank u Gregory for the nice wine suggestion.The view from the roof garden is STUNNING!!!

I went to the blue elephant restaurant yesterday with some friends. An amazing place for Italian food lovers The roof garden is simple yet so aesthetically relaxed atmosphere.. food was tasty and the aromas or every dish we tried was just on point! The menu is directed from Ektoras Botrini. I had the Beef cheeks with the red wine sause honestly the most soft and tasty piece of meat I've ever had in my life! Also try the Chef salad witch is with dry parmesan cheese formed like a huge ball. I was so satisfied with the service so professional and knowledgeable team! Over all I'll definitely visit again during my stay in Almyrida.

Our best dinner in Crete ❀️ We were so glad to find this hotel and restaurant- definitely a hidden hem high up on the mountain ? After staying in Chania and had bad food at β€œtourist restaurantsβ€œ near old town, we finally found our cup of tea here ?? The location is a bit remote and it took us quite a while to find it ?. but the sea view is unbeatable and it is so quiet and peaceful ?and we are so far away from the crowds ?? so as to enjoy our chilled and relaxing vacation. The restaurant chef with his roots from Corfu is half Greek half Italian, running his own restaurant in Athens and thereby bringing his own recipes here?? The complimentary light starter is a mixture of tomato ? and Oliver paste finished with bread ? Two main dishes were very different but both tasty? -> Risotto with calamari, combined with tomato extract - 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -> Gnocchi with mushroom ? and truffle : just fabulous ? and beyond description ? Unfortunately we were so stuffed and could not eat any desserts ? But we are gotta have dinner here again tonight and figure out how the dessert tastes ?

One of the best food experiences of my life, very close to 2 & 3 Michelin stars restaurants I have visited in the past (Spondi in Athens and L'Atelier in Las Vegas). Incredibly creative choices of meat, fish or vegetarian choices, amazing view above Almyrida Bay, beautiful decoration, comfortable luxurious chairs and warm, respectful, kind waiters with great knowledge that answered all our questions with a smile. We had the Minestrone soup with fish, Ceasar's Salad with swordfish, taglatielle with spinach and shrimp, fresh seabass with red pepper dressing, glasses of wine that the waiter suggested and the absolutely perfect tiramisu. We can't wait to try again the other plates that looked so delicious. Outstanding value for money, my wife and myself are so impressed - it was an unforgettable night. Do yourself a favour and give it a try, you will never regret it!

Without exaggeration, the best fine dining experience of my life. We sat up top with a beautiful sunset view of the sea. All seafood they serve is sourced from Crete. The amouse Bouche was divine, the scallops and tuna tartare were amazing, my wife had the tuna I had the sea bass which were both excellent, and the Canoli for dessert was the single best thing I've ever eaten. The menu was creative and fresh without being pretentious. What made it the best meal I've ever had, however, was the service. Our servers were polite and kind, extremely attentive without being bothersome. My wife has gluten and dairy allergies, and the chef came up to our table to make sure he understood what she could and could not have. The dessert he made for her (meringue pavlova with lemon curd) wasn't on the menu, but he knew she had been having fruit and yogurt for every "dessert" and wanted her to have something else. 2 bottles of wonderful greek wine, 2 apps, 2 entrees, 2 desserts for about €160. Half the price of the dinner we had on Mt. Lycabettus in Athens and about 1000 times better. CANNOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!

Incredible restaurant with very nice view. Professional staff that makes your experience better and one of the best food in Crete. Definitely a must go and will visit again when I'll be back on the island.
