★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haben es mit defekter Bosch/Valeo Lichtmaschine auf dem letzten Volt nachts hin geschafft und prompt 50m weiter beim wenden festgefahren. Morgens 8 Uhr auf der Matte gestanden, weigerte man sich, uns in jeglicher Art zu helfen. Weder wollte man sich das Problem überhaupt anschauen (was ich als Mechaniker ja verstehen kann wenn viel Betrieb ist), noch mit drei Klicks eine neue Lichtmaschine bestellen zum Selbsteinbau, noch, trotz knapp 10 Autos und Geländewagen auf dem Hof, irgendein Angebot oder überhaupt ein Versuch, uns 3 Meter aus dem feuchten Rasen rauszuziehen. Trotz mehrfacher Bitte. Nicht mal ein Seil mochte man entbehren. Das Ende vom Lied? Eine LKW Werkstatt gegenüber setzte trotz laufenden Betrieb 30 min lang Himmel und Hölle in Bewegung, uns a) rauszuziehen, b) einen deutsch-griechischen Kontakt zu vermitteln und c) an eine Werkstatt weiterzuempfehlen, die das Problem noch am gleichen Tag beseitigte.
Nur um das klarzustellen: Ich habe in keiner Weise erwartet, dass dort alle alles stehen und liegen lassen nur weil da plötzlich morgens 2 Deutsche ohne Termin stehen. Im Gegenteil: ich habe sogar 2 Tage vorher angerufen, noch aus Italien eine SMS plus Mail geschrieben, das Problem geschildert und gebeten, schon mal eine Lichtmaschine zu bestellen. Keine Reaktion.
Menschlich und fachlich enttäuschend. Nie wieder.
Made it there at night with a defective Bosch/Valeo alternator on the last volt and promptly got stuck 50m further when turning. Standing on the mat at 8 o'clock in the morning, they refused to help us in any way. They neither wanted to look at the problem at all (which I can understand as a mechanic when it's busy), nor order a new alternator with three clicks for self-installation, nor, despite almost 10 cars and off-road vehicles in the yard, any offer or even one at all Try to pull us ten feet out of the wet lawn. Despite multiple requests. You couldn't even do without a rope. The end of the song? A truck workshop across the street moved heaven and earth for 30 minutes, despite ongoing operations, to a) pull us out, b) arrange a German-Greek contact and c) recommend a workshop that eliminated the problem on the same day.
Just to clarify: I didn't expect that everyone would leave everything there just because there were suddenly 2 Germans there in the morning without an appointment. On the contrary: I even called 2 days before, wrote a text message and email from Italy, described the problem and asked them to order an alternator. No reaction.
Disappointing both personally and professionally. Never again.
