★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ξεκινήσαμε τη διαδρομή από την Ελάτη, καθώς μας συνέστησαν ότι είναι η πιο εύκολη και γρήγορη. Ένα μέρος της το κάναμε με αυτοκίνητο από το δασικό δρόμο μέχρι τη θέση Κώστα. Η διαδρομή με το αυτοκίνητο είναι γενικά βατή, αν και χρειάζεται προσοχή στα νεροφαγώματα και στις τυχόν κατολισθήσεις (ανάλογα με τις καιρικές συνθήκες και την εποχή). Με το αυτοκίνητο είναι 30 λεπτά, ενώ αν επιλέξετε να την κάνετε με τα πόδια είναι 1:40.
Από τη θέση Κώστα και μετά έχει άρτια σηματοδοτημένο μονοπάτι, πολύ εύκολο (για αρχάριους) και βατό. Στη διαδρομή ωστόσο, ενδέχεται να συναντήσετε πεσμένα δέντρα. Η πεζοπορία διαρκεί 1 ώρα στο χαλαρό.
Φτάνοντας σιγά σιγά προς την τοποθεσία, εμφανίζεται ένα ξέφωτο με ένα μικρό ρυάκι, ένα κιόσκι με τζάκι και ακολουθώντας τον ήχο του νερού θα βρείτε και τη σπηλιά του Μπέη.
Όλη η διαδρομή είναι μαγική περνώντας μέσα από τα έλατα. Ακόμα πιο καθηλωτικό όμως είναι το τοπίο που αντικρίζεις φτάνοντας στον προορισμό.
Υ.Γ.1. Για τη διαδρομή να έχετε νερό, σνακ και αθλητικά παπούτσια. Η τοποθεσία είναι ιδανική και για πικνικ.
Υ.Γ.2. Για την κατάβαση στη σπηλιά χρειάζεται ειδικός εξοπλισμός. Μην το επιχειρήσετε εάν δεν έχετε εμπειρία, καθώς είναι απόκρημνα.
We started the route from Elati, as they recommended that it be the easiest and fastest. We did a part of it by car from the forest road to Kosta. The route by car is generally passable, although attention should be paid to water eats and landslides (depending on weather conditions and season). By car it is 30 minutes, while if you choose to do it on foot it is 1:40.
From Costa onwards it has a well-marked path, very easy (for beginners) and passable. Along the way, however, you may encounter fallen trees. The hike lasts 1 hour in the relaxed.
Reaching slowly to the site, a clearing appears with a small stream, a gazebo with a fireplace and following the sound of the water you will find the cave of Bey.
The whole route is magical passing through the fir trees. Even more captivating, however, is the landscape you see when you reach your destination.
PS1. Have water, snacks and sneakers for the trip. The location is also ideal for a picnic.
PS2. For the descent to the cave you need special equipment. Do not try it if you have no experience, as it is steep.
