The woman who runs it invited us in with a comforting "please feel free to look around, don't worry about buying anything". We ended up chatting with her for awhile and then did end up each getting a glass of wine to be able to sit and chat some more. We were joined by a lovely group from Wales and there were interesting stories all around. The woman who runs the shop is very carefree and low pressure. Our visit here will remain one of the highlights of our visit to Monemvasia.

Vion is an excellent host providing not only delicous, regional wines, but also a lot of interesting facts about those. Don‘t miss to have a little talk with him, he will tell you more about the history of the town and the region than you’ll find in any tourguide! During our 5 days in Monemvasia we came here every night, sometimes we even skipped dinner to have some of his phantastic (homemade) mezze! A magical Location, fully recommended!
E	Evangelos Papanastasiou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This wine bar in a quiet location provides local wines of "degustation" at a relaxing style. The owner was polite, chatty and gave us nice hints on the traditions behind local winery. A bit expensive, but I guess wine tasting never comes cheap.

The tapas that come with the wine tasting although simple they always have a bit of a twist and they compliment the wine very well! A gem of a place that one should visit when at Monemvasia.

Walking around the beautiful town and suddenly you end up in this wonderful bar. The owner, a real Gentleman, gave me nice hints about the town too. I hope I can go back soon ?
