★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little tavern/Café at the lake. The food is simple but tasty and more then reasonable. The most adorable kittens were romping around when we had our snacks and refreshing drinks there. ? We spend the hottest time of the day in this shaded place, relaxing in the slight breeze and enjoying the beautiful view over the lake. No haute cuisine, but perfect for a easy stop and rest ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quiet and pleasant cafe. The smiling owner gave us good food and did his best so that the free-range goat would not eat our food. Having a goat walking on the terrace is something that, unfortunately, we would never see in Sweden, which made the visit even more pleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic view to the lake and surrounding mountains. A great place to stop and and hide from the heat in the shadow of old tree. We stopped here for a drink. Ice-cream frappe was yummy. The host is nice and friendly woman, she told us about some spectacular spots to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely recommend stopping here if on a drive through the wonderful Cretan mountains. You'll be greeted by lovely owners, simple but great food at a very reasonable price and, above all, a stunning view of the Amari Dam Reservoir. I recommend the stuffed vine leaves!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. Great Greek food (especially the Dakos), good Coffee, Orange Juice, nice staff and cute kittens!! I can absolutely recommend it, especially if you are searching for a cooler spot on a hot summer day.
