I asked whether we could charge the battery of our e-bike and the shop owner showed us the socket. After one hour, she handed us over an extra bill over EUR 5 for our battery. The battery was for our bicycle and takes a total of 500W when loaded for three hours. Looking at the cost of power on Crete, the real cost of charging would have not been more than EUR 0,20. We would have been happy to contribute to the electricity bill but not this exaggerated amount.
