У нас был арендован автомобиль на 12 дней, поэтому много времени уделили различным поездкам и посещению интересных мест. 02.09.21 наш маршрут лежал из Rethymno, где мы проживали, через церковь Святой Ирины (в 5 км и 15 мин езды от отеля) в пещеры Мелидони (в 35км и 50мин от церкви) и Сфедони (в 21км и 45 мин от Мелидони). Всего маршрут занял 118км. Возле пещеры огромная бесплатная стоянка. Посередине стоянки стоит кусок скалы, это очень красиво. А на входе есть небольшое кафе и туалет. Нам сразу не понравилось то, что пришлось ждать больше одного часа (!!!) пока сформируется группа чуть более 10 человек! При этом изначально говорили, что ждать минут 20! Думаю, что это сделано сознательно, что бы посетители покупали себе еду в кафе!). Входной билет 5 евро на человека, экскурсия только с гидом, который вещает на английском языке. In total, the route took 118 km. There is a huge free parking lot near the cave. There is a piece of rock in the middle of the parking lot, it is very beautiful. And at the entrance there is a small cafe and a toilet. We immediately did not like the fact that we had to wait more than one hour (!!!) until a group of just over 10 people was formed! At the same time, they initially said that to wait 20 minutes! I think that this was done deliberately so that visitors would buy their own food in a cafe!). Entrance ticket 5 euros per person, guided tour only with a guide who broadcasts in English.
