Dimitrios Tourikis was born and raised in Piraeus, Greece. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting & Finance from Oxford Brookes University. He continued with postgraduate studies in University of Westminster London, UK and University of Phoenix AZ, USA. Dimitrios Tourikis has over twenty years of extensive experience in the financial services industry focusing on providing strategic business planning for corporate clients. He has worked in a variety of capacities including: Financial Advisor/Stockbroker at Merrill Lynch in the USA, Financial Controller for the Further Education Development Agency in London as well as Financial Analyst of Boston Finance and Emporiki Bank (Credit Agricole Group) in Athens. Dimitrios is a Certified Public Accountant, member of STEP (Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners), Chartered Member  of the CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment), member of IFA (International Fiscal Association),  and also a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece (Accounting & Tax Division). In 2009 he founded Callamus, where he specializes in international multi-family office services.

Dimitrios Tourikis has also been decorated in the Royal Order of the Star of Ethiopia with the rank of Commander (CSE) – honored from H.I.H. Ermias Selassie (President of the Crown Council of Ethiopia), grandson of H.I.H Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia and also decorated in the Royal Order of the Lion of Rwanda with the rank of Grand Officer (GOLR)-honored from H.R.M Yuhi VI King of Rwanda.
