★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ίσως για να έχει μεγαλύτερο κύρος η αξιολόγηση θα έπρεπε να μείνουν τα παιδιά. Την επισκεφθηκαμε λόγω εκδρομής που διοργάνωσε ο σύλλογος γονέων και κηδεμόνων του σχολείου και καθίσαμε από το πρωί μέχρι το απόγευμα. Στην περιήγηση μου στο χώρο οφείλω να πω ότι δε μου άρεσε σχεδόν τίποτα. Παλιός χώρος, σπιτάκια, παραμελημένα γήπεδα μπάσκετ (βαθουλωμένα παντού, μπορείς άνετα να στραμπουληξεις τα πόδια σου) και τουαλέτες κανονικές. Με τόσο κόσμο θεωρώ για λόγους καθαριότητας ότι θα πρέπει να έχει τουρκικές και ειδικά όταν έχει παιδιά δημοτικού που δεν έχουν το ύψος για να κάνουν την ανάγκη τους χωρίς να λερωθούν. Η κατασκήνωση είναι βγαλμένη από άλλη δεκαετία χωρίς να έχει γίνει κάποια σοβαρή ανακαίνιση, αυτή την εντύπωση έχω χωρίς να σημαίνει ότι έχω δίκιο απαραίτητα.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m cycling from Athens to England and I mistook this camp for a campsite rather than a children’s’ camp. The owner (george) was busy setting up for a group of children when I arrived. He explained that it wasn’t a campsite but let me stay anyway, for free. Not only that but he made me sandwiches for breakfast before he left for the night. This was a simple act of kindness and generosity for no financial gain and at a time when he was very busy. I think that shows what a kind nature this man has.
