It's a beautiful, free spot, with tall trees and plenty of space, where you'll never feel lonely. The municipality checks the premises daily, and you'll have an amazing time of you have low expectations from the amenities of the space, as there are none. No lights either so come prepared with a torch. It's very near the Vathres and the natural lakes of samothraki! Beautiful overall.

The camping is currently free. There is just a really big area full of trees, where you can camp. It is sort of divided into smaller areas. It has only outside showers with them having most of the time cold water. There are toilets and sinks in every smaller area but you have to be responsible of cleaning them after you use them since there is not cleaning service available. It is by the sea, but the beach is with rocks like most beaches in Samothrace, not sand. There is a small market inside of it with only some basic stuff but it is overpriced. If you want more privacy and quiet you'll have to camp further inside the camping. It is almost twenty minutes walk from the nearest village, Therma. Hitchhiking is also really used, but there are regular buses as well going to the most known destinations.

The camping has basic facilities available but it is located into a wonderful forest with many shadowed areas suitable to put a tent. It is next to the beach, dogs are allowed. Musical events are also organized to the area of the camping. Beautiful natural alternative holidays.

It was 7.5 over 10 I could say. Personally, I loved it as I was lucky that I found the best group of guys that I spent almost whole holiday with. There are some tiny things you should know before going there. -Mornings getting your coffee is a challenge (takes around 30 minutes every time) -Nights, getting your drinks sometimes also pretty complicated. -Telephone charging is also kind a challenge. I mean surely I am fully aware it's free and that's sort of the "spirit" of these places, however, I assume those things can be handled differently. One last thing that I enjoyed a lot was almost everything I had was always around and nothing had gone lost. I reckon it's a massive thing to be underlined.

Very nice place considering its a free camping. Local municipal sevices are cleaning the rubbish every 1 to 2 days. The bathrooms are in terrible conditions but the good thing is that everyone cleans his toilet there after their use! Also the is a small cafe where you can see concerts of local singers and dance all night driniking beers ? The beach is 50 meters or less and the closest village therma is maybe 1km away!!!
