★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uncrowed, an awesome huge pool (our child loved it), near to many majestic beaches and 3' by car from the center of Marathopolis, very cheap nice bar with friendly people.
Simply put, a vacation gem for families and relaxation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice place for camping and chilling,people are polite and really quite. It is close to all nice beaches, especially if you are into surfing! Definately recommend it to stay! You will love it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camping proti is a very clean, luxurious and friendly camping that you can spend your time in Messinia. The camping provides its own tents, airbeds, a clean swimming pool with a bar that you can spend time before your day trips. Staff is very friendly and can help you organise your trip. Also the other visitors are friendly, not loud and very organized campers. There are shared bathrooms (no shampoo but toilet paper is being provided). Lastly and most importantly, your stay there will be cheap and it also has an excellent location for travellers who can drive 5 minutes to the Marathon village for food, walks and getting supplies from the super market. Also, it is 5 minutes from a small port where you can take a boat and visit the island "Proti", where with 10€ you can stay to the island for 4 hours, get some great facts for the place, snorkeling to a Greek shipwreck 50m distance from the beach and visit some caves, and some historical navy letters from that have been written from the Peloponnesian wars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well organized camping, family exclusive, clean toilets, volleyball, basketball fields as well as swimming pool. Unfortunately, the bar is quite expensive, very poor electrical supply and the internet connection is terrible!
