Camping Zante - Camping Zante

We are two American girls traveling Europe on a budget. We came to Zante unsure of where we would stay and a little nervous about prices. We found Camping Zante and we are so glad we did. Unlike my friend, I had never been camping before and I had no idea what to expect. The moment we got there we were greeted by the family and instantly felt welcome. The boys supplied and set up our tent, otherwise we would be sleeping under a collapsed tent...... We had an ocean view and the sound of waves definitely helped us fall asleep. The campground sits on a quiet beach with clear water and a perfect jetty for bathing. Since we had no idea we would be camping, we came very unprepared. We had a very cold night the first night and slept in our luggage....literally.... The next night we had an amazing home made dinner at the adorable little restaurant overlooking the pool and ocean, on the campground. Our waitress Gina was the sweetest. We told her of our cold night and she got us a big cozy blanket. Warm and comfy night ahead : ) Also perfect, there is wifi in the main reception and its free. Great connection. I would 1000% recommend Camping Zante. It is a beautiful 3mile walk into town. however if you feel the need for speed, I would recommend renting a scooter from the fabulous Theo at Theo's rentals in town. Have fun! Keep warm! : ) Even summer nights in Greece get chilly.

The place was in a nice location. There is a swimming pool . However you should know that there is no toilet paper or basic stuff on the bathroom . To me paying 25 eu$ to camp and not having roller paper it's a crime. In montenegro I paid 4$ and have toilet paper , shampoo and soap. I Albania 15 eu. I did laundry one time and it costed me 5eu. No dryer machine provided (like rest of europe). No washing detergent . 5 eu small machine. Complete ripoff. I much rather have them adjust the price and buy toilet paper. . There is no convineance store around. So come prepare or have your ass dirty. The toilet paper issue was not acceptable to me . This is why I give them 1 star. Otherwise its fine

Zante cambing is one of the best places to spent your holidays. I be been staying there for the last 5 yearsand every time I leave I am looking forward to come back. It is spacious enough, all of the places have enough shade allowing you to enjoy a nice sleep. The cambing is extremely clean while the toilets are always so clean as if someone has just cleaned them up. Staff off the cambing is quiet and willing to help you any time of the day. The location is such that no transportation mean is required since the bus stop is outside. Family friendly with easy access to the beach ,while you can easily relax in the swimming pool next to the restaurant. Highly recommend the restaurant of the cambing where you can taste a typical homemade geek plate prepared with local products and at a good price. My favourite dish is staffed tomatoes!!!!

Nice place with shades, there is mostly families. Toilettes and showers could be cleaner. I had my own tent and payed 12.5 euro per night, which is a little bit expensive compared to other camping sites.

Nice place, Clean services with beautiful sunset view and sea. The restaurant is fantastic, we have eaten wanderfull grill fish!!! Really recommend

To recommand! Very nice people, lot of place for camping car, first linę to Beach, clean toilets And showers, wonderful swimming pool And really good resto - plate for 2 people was delicious for 3:)

We stayed there for 14 nights during the high season (August 2021). Very beautiful environment, very clean facilities with hot running water 24/7 and the personnel is very friendly. Extremely low prices for the area. Wide plots with water and electricity. The beach is small but very beautiful with clean turquoise water. The camping has huge trees providing protection from the sun and the heat, there was shade everywhere. The restaurant was so and so but the view was magnificient. The swimming pool is awsome for a refreshing time with the kids or tanning under the sun. Zante Camping is very close to the town of Tsilivi, with tons of fun activities for the whole family, and many beautiful beaches surrounding the area. The only thing that was missing was a mini-market inside the camping where you could buy some necessary stuff, however there are plenty of grocery shops around the area. The owner promised that there will be one next summer and I saw it being renovated. P.S: Not suitable for people with limited walking capabilities.

Camping Zante was a good choice! Since we arrived at our first day, everyone was extremely kind and very good treatment. All the facilities are very clean you just need to bring your stuff. They have swimming pool and a restaurant. The restaurant is amazing, the food is like you are eating at a Greek house. The camping you can choose a spot for you, bring a car because the access in the island can be difficult without it. Nothing bad to say, I have stayed 10 days treated like a real guest, everyone very kind! If you are planning to come camping in Zakynthos, do it in Zante camping !!!!
