m	manos lakis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ όμορφο φαράγγι δίπλα στο ηράκλειο, αλλά τα σκουπίδια που υπάρχουν σε μεγάλο κομμάτι της διαδρομής είναι υπερβολικά πολλά. Επίσης τα βοηθητικά σχοινιά θέλουν αντικατάσταση. Very beautiful canyon next to heraklion, but the rubbish that exists on a large part of the route is too much. Also the auxiliary ropes want replacement.

Vom oberen Einstieg (bei der alten Wassermühle in der Kurve der Hauptstraße) wird man schon nach wenigen Metern durch einen Zaun gebremst. Von unten muss man sich zunächst zwischen Gatter und Busch durchquetschen. Danach kann man gut im Flussbett bergauf laufen, wird aber von Massen von Müll und gelegentlich auch Tierkadavern begleitet. Ein Stück hinter dem kleinen Kapelle endet dann auch dieser Weg durch Zaun und Gatter. Früher konnte man das Gatter sicher mal öffnen, aber inzwischen ist es fest mit dem Zaun verbunden. Wäre der ganze Müll nicht und der Weg komplett begehbar, sicher eine schöne kleine Wanderung; aber so nicht. It is currently not possible to fully hike the gorge. From the upper entrance (at the old watermill in the curve of the main road) you will be braked by a fence after a few meters. From below you first have to squeeze between the gate and the bush. Afterwards you can walk uphill in the river bed, but you will be accompanied by masses of rubbish and occasionally animal carcasses. A little behind the small chapel this path ends through a fence and gate. It used to be possible to open the gate, but it is now firmly attached to the fence. If it weren't for all the rubbish and the path was completely passable, it would be a nice little hike; but not like that.

Attention quelques passages très escarpés, bonnes chaussures et ne pas avoir peur de grimper sur des échelles de bois ou le long de cordes. Ne convient pas aux enfants. Very pleasant little walk along the bed of the torrent. Be careful some very steep passages, good shoes and do not be afraid to climb on wooden ladders or along ropes. Not suitable for children.
