★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here with my parents whilst on vacation in Zakynthos, Greece. It was a lovely experience with a nice view, but the most memorable part of staying here was meeting Zoya. Zoya is a cat that lives somewhere in the area. I assume that she's a stray, but that aside she was clean, adorable and well behaved. She came on our first day asking for food. We fed her and then, somehow, she just grew on us. She would come and spend our mornings with us before running off to do whatever cats do in this island in Greece. Sometimes, she would spend her days curled up next to me on my chaise longue. Needless to say, for our short trip she became one of our family members.
Zoya is very kind, not ever did she scratch or bite me, and she always showed love back to whomever gave her even a single ounce of it.
So this is Zoya. I named her myself.
It was very sad to leave her, though I can only hope that she can meet even more people in her life here in Zakynthos!
If you stay here and you get the chance to meet Zoya, tell her hi from Teja, and know that she likes fish, meat and dry cat food. Once, she even ate a whole egg (sunny-side up style!). Zoya is quite crazy!
