Lovely views of the bay, food was good, the usual but the prices are exaggerated. One would think perhaps because of the real estate and setting but other restaurants with stunning views and, expensive properties are at least 20% less. Next time I'd check the menu before sitting down.

Tourist rip-off with prizes twice as high as the restaurant next door. "Poached eggs" just come as sunny side ups with a plane super market toast as a side - a bad joke. Try Taso's place around the corner instead, half the prices, double the quality.

We have tried a few places around and this has been the best by far. You can tell that the chef cares what he puts on the plate and is not serving for masses. Menu is simple but has many good options and great flavours. Lovely and attentive staff!

Really nice stuff, always assembled best tables for us and entertained us during our stay. The food was good, I tried the beef section and was very pleased with my choise and the banana crepes. All the tables were kindly rewarded at the end with good watermellon or ouzo at your choosing. The music was nice, for all tastes. The view of the beach was fantastic. We always had a really nice time in the morning and noon during our stay in Laganas.

What an amazing lunch….! We had the pleasure of eating at this lovely restaurant earlier this month. It was a lovely sunny day with a light breeze, situated on top of the beach. This establishment offers tables under cover of sheltered roof, parasol, in the sun or on the grass. Sunbeds are also free to customers, and it has a private toilet block that can be use either from the beach or the restaurant itself.  What a great setting. We were a table of four. From the outset we made our intentions plain. We were here for an extended holiday lunch and not interested in rushing. Nick was taking care of us, he assured us we could remain as long as we liked as he was going to be there till after 2200hrs anyway. So we sat and ordered some cold beers and Ouzo. Sat back to look over the menu. The menu is a great mix of traditional Greek and other Mediterranean fare. Also every type of sandwich, burger and even breakfast was on offer. A simple but pleasing wine list. All Greek wines, and reasonable price. Expect a good bottle of the local for 16 euro. All our courses were ordered separately. By that I mean we finished one before ordering the other. This way we could be sure of our appetite as we progressed. Our starters were two Prawn Cocktails and warm Dolmades with a basket of fresh bread. The Prawn cocktails were lovely looking and filled with fresh prawns, seafood sauce served on the side. The Dolmades were indeed warm, and served with fresh lemon. Presentation was good. All plates, cutlery and glasses were clean and in good repair. Tables clean and set with Olive Oil and Vinegar. After this we ordered two plates of grilled Sardines with Chips and Salad. Once again we were not to be disappointed. The fish was perfectly cooked, nicely seasoned, well presented. Salad was fresh, the chips too were hot and fresh. Another basket of bread and a couple of bottles of rose wine rounded off the main course nicely. After sipping the wine into the afternoon it was time to move onto dessert. Feeling rather full by now we elected to share only two desserts between us.  One was an ice cream sundae that came covered in mountains of whipped cream and chocolate sauce. The other was a traditional Baklava. This was truly outstanding. There were layer upon layer of syrup soaked pastry interlaces with crushed nuts. From here, with our appetite taken care of. We moved out of the restaurant and into the last of the evening sun where we enjoyed Coffee and Mataxa before paying up and heading home to our hotel. The service was unhurried and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. Food quality was amazing. Much better than we expected. Nick was welcoming and obliging. He even made sure we had a few litres of bottled water to take away with us. The cost was very reasonable for what we had and the patience that was afforded us. If you find yourself on Laganas beach and looking for somewhere to choose out of the many on offer. This is the place you must try. Thanks again Nick… Maybe see you again some time.
