Brand new and close to the beach with friendly staff !! Very close to the center of the vilage that you can find anything you need !! 500 meters from the main super market Synka and the tourist office Auto Motor Maleme for rentals, tours and transfers!!

An amazing hotel, close to the beach, close to Chania and to Kissamos (if you think about visiting Balos). The hotel is brand new and very clean with very professional staff that will go out of their way to help you. Highly recommended for families with kids as the area is very quiet and it is very close to areas with more vibrant night life. The breakfast was very good and includes local food that was delicious.

It could be better ... I suppose that this property created very fast and it is not finished yet. The rooms were not clean enough. There are too many construction imperfections. The breakfast was poor. The beds are not so confortable. An awful smell was comming from the drains. Our room was very noisy. The staff was very kind.

Such a wonderful hotel. We stayed for 11 days and had an unforgettable stay. Everyone at the hotel does their utmost to serve you and the professionalism shines through. The compound is extremely clean and well designed, with a good variety of swimming pools and a great pool bar. You have your basic breakfast buffet and a good selection of courses on the menu that you can order from early in the morning until late in the evening (I strongly recommend the pork gyros). The beach is 200m from the hotel and they provide full service of drinks and food to the beach from 10am to 7pm, which was extremely nice :) Our apartment was very spacious, with comfortable beds, a good kitchen and double bathroom. The apartment was cleaned daily by the wonderful maids at the hotel. The only thing we could call a drawback was walking distances to restaurants and shops nearby. It's a minimum of 500 meters to the nearest service. Yet again, if you prefer peace and quiet, the location of Carisa Maleme is perfect. But I'm pretty sure that service in the area will grow a lot in the coming years as there are obviously many other hotels being built around this one. We can't recommend this hotel strongly enough. We will definitely be back, it's perfect for couples and very convenient for families with children, as there is almost no traffic around the hotel and the compound and area around it is very safe. We cannot finish this review without mentioning the fabulous trio of staff that worked at the pool bar and beach; Giorgos, Kalliopi and Vasilis. They became our friends from day one, so wonderful and always smiling. We sure hope they will be around the next time we come to Carisa Maleme.
