★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You need to ask the gods to turn you into a mountain goat to get up and back down. The route is actually dangerous. The ruins is falling apart, no upkeep. Don't wear sandals, there are thorns everywhere. The view was impressive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely confusing to get to. The sign to the castle leads only to driveways that are gated. Google maps wanted me to go through someone’s private property. Unfortunate that the path isn’t more clear.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressive and mystic ruins of the castle. Nice trail to walk on the top of the hill through the village. Worth a visit! No access for bigger vehicles, I parked my camper near the sport center close to the village.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EPIC! Totally worth the very confusing trailhead/parking situation. The trail starts right next to a house at the top of the driveway… completely worth it. These fully walkable ruins are my favorite part of the trip
