★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Run away !
The part where you go by boat is closed so you can only see the first part which will disapoint you if you have ever been to a cave. Plus this place is really expensive especially for what you will get.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place but when we visited (31.3.2022) there was no boat available and we missed the best part. There should be a warning on the official page about it and not knowing it when you arrive there. Really disappointed about the management of this unique cave...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place but it doesn't make up for the price.
You have a 10-15 min in a boat with Greek explanation (they knew we didn't speak greek) and then you walk for another 10 min before coming out on the other side

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Caves of Diros is an amazing place! A must! You should read about the caves before the visit, because you will get no details from the persons who work there! They speak only greak! But anyway visiting the caves is an unique experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These really are fantastic caves: I don't think I've ever seen such impressive stalactites/stalagmites. The boat ride is quite short but atmospheric, and then you can wander at your own pace through the pedestrian part of the cave. Take your time and enjoy the amazing formations. Useful info - they require a Covid passport or a rapid test (the chemist back up the road in Pyrgos Dirou did one for our teenage son: very quick and only €10) and once you've bought your tickets I'd drive down to the entrance where there are toilets and a cafe/shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the small slope due to Covid regulations. Totally worth it. We had a boat ride and also a walk through the caves to the exit. Pictures and videos don't do the trick. Its better to see for yourself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PARTIALLY CLOSED!
Boat tours, which are promoted to be the main attraction, are suspended until further notice. You can only walk 300 meters in and back until the place where boats used to disembark. This is still pittoresque and not very frequented, so I didn't came here for nothing. I still rate it 2/5 because they aren't able to inform about the partial closure on their homepage. Greek organization...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of nicest caves in Greece. Unfortunately due to typical approach 90% is closed. On webpage - nothing. Organization of entry, tickets , guide zero.
It’s worth visiting once over water part is back available (1200m). Walking part (300m) is good to take once you’re here. Anyhow it’s really missing tourist approach. Now it looks that it need to be done as someone ask them to do it.
