★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enrolled in the blended model for Module 2 of the Delta, and reached the shores of Athens in June last year. CELT Athens made sure I had a comfortable stay, and I received full support of my tutors Marisa Constantinides and George Vassilakis, who refined my strengths and helped me work on my areas of development all through my LSAs. It was a huge learning experience for me, and I'm indebted to the centre and the extremely knowledgeable tutors for all their support.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can anyone really judge a place and the people there within 3 days?!!! A kind reminder: The courses delivered in CELT Athens are being assessed by Cabridge according to the same criteria the courses are being assessed everywhere in the world. I did my CELTA there and the tutors were professioal and supportive. There is always room for improvement, but everyone there works hard!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marisa Constantinides - the owner - bullied me saying that I would never be able to become a teacher due to my 'long blonde curly hair' and blue nail polish, which she didn't think made me look respectable enough to be a teacher. I left her office in tears. One of the tutors, Alexandros, witnessed the convo. That was back in 2014 and thank God I didn't listen to her horribly painful and belittling words. I now go the extra mile to encourage the teachers I train as an educational researcher, especially when I see passion in their eyes. The culture at CELT is exceedingly conservative and not congruent with basic moral and scientific principles.
*EDIT FOLLOWING RESPONSE FROM OWNER*: Uhmm...A bit sad that you train teachers on how to teach English, yet you don't even know that 'Leo' can also be a female name...

I particularly enjoyed the experience of the virtual classroom, which afforded me the opportunity to see how students might experience an online course.
