Ε	ΕΜΜΑΝΟΥΗΛ ΧΑΛΑΡΗΣ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στο εισογειο αυτού του πανέμορφου ανακαινισμένου κτηρίου του Δημαρχείου τής Χαλκιδας Εύβοιας η έκθεση εικόνων αγιογραφίας εικόνων από μαθητές,με εξέπληξε ευχάριστα,μιας και μου έδωσε την Όμορφη αίσθηση ότι όλοι αυτοί Οι μαθητές,ήταν πραγματικοί καλλιτέχνες!! Όλες οι αναρτημενες εικόνες,μου έδωσαν με την τεχνική τους,και την αποτύπωση των μορφών των Αγίων Τέλεια νέα αισθητική!! Μπράβο τους!!! P	Phil Yian2 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μέγαρο Κότσικα, Η ιστορία του Μεγάρου Κότσικα Στα μέσα του 1870 στην θέση του μεγάρου Κότσικα υπήρχε η ποτοποιεία Χατζηπαναγιώτου. Το 1904 ο έμπορος Πολυχρόνης Κότσικας με καταγωγή από την Κάρυστο και κατοικία το Κάιρο της Αιγύπτου, αγόρασε το κτίριο του ποτοποιείου και έδωσε εντολή στον μηχανικό Ποθητό Καμάρα (ο ίδιος μηχανικός που είχε κατασκευάσει και το παλιό ξενοδοχείο Παλίρροια) να κατασκευάσει στη θέση του το κτίριο που γνωρίζουμε σήμερα ως Μέγαρο Κότσικα. Η κατασκευή του Μεγάρου ξεκίνησε το 1906. Το 1984 επί δημαρχίας Γιάννη Σπανού το κτίριο το αγόρασε ο δήμος Χαλκιδέων από τους κληρονόμους του Π. Κότσικα με σκοπό να μετατραπεί σε δημαρχιακό μέγαρο. Αφού έγιναν οι απαραίτητες εργασίες συντήρησης και αναπαλαίωσης, την 4 Μαρτίου 1994 και επί δημαρχίας Στέλιου Μαργαρίτη εγκαινιάζεται και έκτοτε φιλοξενεί τις υπηρεσίες του Δήμου Χαλκιδέων.
