★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent place for the price you pay for it. The owner is kind and helpful. Breakfast is good enough, without being anything too special. The rooms are basic but clean, bright and warm.
On the minus side, there were no duvets. Just blankets. Also, breakfast was right outside the door and it got very noisy in the mornings. For those who like to sleep more, it will be an issue. Decoration... let's say it could be better.

The bathroom didn’t flush well. The shower didn’t have a proper curtain and no place to hang to wash yourself. The breakfast room noise woke us early in the morning..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: We so enjoyed our stay at the clean and comfortable Charoula Rooms. Our room was large and included a sitting area which we enjoyed. We also appreciated the large and comfortable dining area with a kitchen that would have been shared with other people had there been any. As it is, we had the place to ourselves, but there was plenty of room for everyone to sit (several set tables). There was also a porch from the dining room with a table for eating outside. We enjoyed and saved money eating breakfast and lunch there. (There are grocery stores very nearby.) The location is also great, just a few blocks walk to the pedestrian zone, museum, and train station. The lovely woman who runs Charoula was friendly and checked in a few times to make sure everything was OK.. Negative: The building is located on a fairly busy road and has gas stations and stores quite nearby. The town is more picturesque than the actual location but it was quiet and just a short walk to the center..
