 Tavern with a great variety of both cooks and grills. Appetizers in a wide variety, excellent vegetable pie and good wine. Highly recommended.

Ευγενικοί οι άνθρωποι που έχουν το ταβερνάκι!! Η τυροκαυτερη, και το χειροποίητο γλυκό ήταν όλα τα λεφτά!
Οικονομική ταβερνα αξίζει η διαδρομή
Very tasty food, fresh products etc.
Kind people who have the tavern !! The hottest cheese, and the handmade dessert was all the money!
Economic tavern is worth the trip

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in Peristera for some oral history on the area, specifically to Gounarianika. My paternal great-grandfather and his three brothers moved from Gounariankia (presumably Peristera) to Agios Vasileios, Patras, Greece.
We were met with open arms as if we were family. Frappe was delicious, and tsipouro with mezze was wonderful. It was a long drive up, but the view and the clean air were breathtaking! There was even a mountain spring fountain about 25m away.
