★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Όπως γράφουν οι Αργολικές Ειδήσεις φτιάχτηκε την περίοδο της Α’ Ενετοκρατίας στην περιοχή του Ναυπλίου ,από έναν καπετάνιο που μετέφερε κρασί από νησί του Αιγαίου προς το Ναύπλιο, που ήταν τότε ένα μεγάλο λιμάνι και κέντρο εμπορίου προς την Ευρώπη και την Ανατολή.
Ο καπετάνιος με το πλοίο του μπαίνοντας νύχτα στο λιμάνι έπεσε σε σφοδρή κακοκαιρία , μιας και το μέρος εκείνο το πιάνει ιδίως τον χειμώνα ο καιρός , ο καπετάνιος τότε για να σωθεί έταξε να φτιάξει μια εκκλησία σε εκείνο το μέρος αφιερωμένη στον προστάτη των ναυτικών Άγιο Νικόλαο.
Έτσι και έγινε ,το καράβι σώθηκε κι ο καπετάνιος πραγματοποίησε το τάμα του και έφτιαξε την εκκλησία και μάλιστα με πολύ κόπο λόγω του δύσβατου της περιοχής. Για την κατασκευή του ναού χρησιμοποίησε αντί για νερό κρασί.
Από τότε το εκκλησάκι στέκει αγέρωχο μέσα στους αέρηδες τα κύματα του χειμώνα και κόντρα στα φυσικά φαινόμενα.

The captain with his ship entering the port at night fell into severe bad weather, since that place is caught especially in winter weather, the captain then to save himself ordered to build a church in that place dedicated to the patron saint of sailors Agios Nikolaos .
And so it happened, the ship was saved and the captain carried out his vow and built the church with great difficulty due to the inaccessibility of the area. For the construction of the temple he used wine instead of water.
Since then the church stands haughtily in the winds of the winter waves and against the natural phenomena.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μικρό εκκλησάκι σε απότομο βραχώδες σημείο, πάνω σχεδόν στην θάλασσα. Η πρόσβαση γίνεται με τα πόδια από ένα μονοπάτι. Αξίζει τον κόπο η επίσκεψη.
Small chapel on a steep rocky point, almost above the sea. Access is on foot from a path. Well worth the visit.
