Ν	Ναυαγοχωστης on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Εντυπωσιακή εκκλησία από τις πολλές της περιοχής... διαδρομή φοβερή για να φτάσεις εκεί από το δρόμο.....υπάρχει και μονοπάτι που περνάει και συνεχίζει προς Αγία Παρασκευή....γενικά φοβερή διαδρομή και αξίζει μια πεζοπορία...υπάρχει και μονοπάτι που πάει καταφύγιο Πάρνωνα..... Βαμβακού the best Impressive church from many of the area ... great route to get there from the road ..... there is a path that goes and continues to Agia Paraskevi .... generally great route and worth a hike ... there is also trail leading to Parnon shelter ..... Cotton the best

V	V on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μαγευτικό μέρος, ειχαμε βρεθει με τους προσκόπους εκδρομή στην ομορφη Βαμβακού, και απο εκει καναμε πεζοπορια μεχρι το εκκλησάκι αυτο. Απίστευτα γραφικη τοποθεσια, πανω απο ενα φαράγγι. Θα ηθελα πολυ να ξαναπαω να φωτογραφισω αυτο το μερος. Magical place, we had found with the scouts an excursion to the beautiful Vamvakou, and from there we went hiking to this small church. Incredibly scenic location, over a gorge. I would love to go and photograph this place again.
K	Korolis photography & design on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένα ξεχασμένο εκκλησάκι, ριζομένο μέσα στον βράχο,που σύμφωνα με μια επιγραφή που υπάρχει σε ένα τοίχο του είναι κατασκευασμένο καπου στα 1800... Προσβάσιμο μέσω ενός μονοπατιού δύο χιλιομέτρων (το οποίο δεν γνωρίζω τον βαθμό δυσκολίας). Υπάρχει δρόμος που οδηγεί έως εκεί όμως είναι προσβάσιμος με αυτοκίνητο 4x4. Είναι κρίμα ένα τέτοιο εκκλησάκι να μένει έρμαιο του χρόνου και της φθοράς. Αν μπείτε μέσα χρειάζεται αρκετή προσοχή για το που θα πατήσετε, καθώς υπάρχει και μεγάλος κίνδυνος πτώσης πετρών από ψηλά. Φαίνεται ότι το κτήριο έχει κτιστεί στο σημείο αυτό έχοντας στρατηγική σημασία, είναι εμφανείς οι τρύπες στους τοίχους όπου όσοι ήταν μέσα σε περίπτωση κάποιος εχθρός πλησίαζε θα μπορούσαν να πυροβολήσουν, καθώς και πάνω από τις κύριες εισόδους του κτηρίου υπάρχουν και ροές από τις οποίες αν εχθρός προσπαθούσε να περάσει κάποια από τις εισόδους των κτηρίων έριχναν καυτό λάδι!! A forgotten small church, rooted in the rock, which according to an inscription on one of its walls was built around 1800 ... Accessible via a two-kilometer path (which I do not know the degree of difficulty). There is a road that leads there but it is accessible by 4x4 car. It is a pity that such a small church remains a vessel of time and decay. If you enter, you need to be careful about where you step, as there is a high risk of stones falling from above. It seems that the building was built at this point of strategic importance, the holes in the walls are visible where those who were in case of an approaching enemy could shoot, as well as above the main entrances of the building there are flows from which if an enemy trying to pass some of the entrances of the buildings they were pouring hot oil !!
A	Angello Gabriel Ioakimides on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a cave, converted to a monastery. The main building/church is dating to 1858. The road takes you almost to the church, but with a decent off-road car, it is too easy. One can walk there, quite easily as well, as it is only about 2-3km from the main road without a steep walk/climb right until the end. The feel and energy is super. Please respect the environment.
