★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο Ιερός Ναός Αγίου Δημητρίου αποτελεί την περίπτωση εκείνη όπου ένα σχετικά, με την πρώτη ματιά, αδιάφορο χωριό, αποκτά αξία μόνο και μόνο από ένα ιερό ναό.
Πρόκειται για μια εκπληκτική πέτρινη παραδοσιακή Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία όπου οι ευλαβείς κάτοικοι προσέχουν παρά πολύ μέχρι και την τελευταία λεπτομέρεια.
Χριστούγεννα, και ο προαύλιος χώρος έχει μια πολύ όμορφη φάτνη. Όλα γύρω είναι καθαρά. Οι θάμνοι προσεκτικά κουρεμένοι και τα πλατάνια καθαρισμένα από τα φθινοπωρινά φύλλα. Συνδιάζει κατά κάποιο τρόπο βουνό και θάλασσα ο χώρος.
Έξω από την εκκλησία υπάρχει και ένα μνημείο για τους πεσόντες ηρωικούς μαχόμενους υπέρ πίστεως και πατρίδος.
Τα ονόματα αυτών τιμούνται με την επιγραφή "Ανδρών επιφανών πάσα γη τάφος"
Δίπλα υπάρχει και η φωτογραφία του πεσόντα Σμηνία ιπταμένου Χρήστου Ι. Παπαδόπουλου, όπου έπεσε την 2.11.1940.
Επίσης εις μνήμην Μιχαήλ και Ελένης Μούλου , δωρεά Αικ. Μούλου το έτος 1999 υπάρχει και υπαίθρια βρύση.
Η πίσω ξύλινη πόρτα φέρει επιγραφή "δωρεά Αντωνίου και Ορσαλίας Ζερβού εις μνήμην γονέων και αδελφών έτος 2011".
Έτερη μαρμάρινη πλάκα επάνω στο καμπαναριό αναγράφει "Το καμπαναριό του Ιερού Ναού Αγίου Δημητρίου κατασκευάστηκε εξ ημισείας με χρηματοδότηση της π.ε. Εύβοιας και τη συνδρομή των ενοριτών του ιερού ναού. Απετέλεσε έμπνευση της κ. Ελισάβετ Πολυδούλη, η οποία το σχεδίασε και παρότρυνε όλα τα μέλη για την κατασκευή του. Σωτήριον έτος 2019".
The Church of Agios Dimitrios is the case where a relatively, at first glance, indifferent village, acquires value only from a church.
It is an amazing stone traditional Orthodox Church where the pious inhabitants pay close attention to every last detail.

Outside the church there is a monument for the fallen heroic fighters for faith and homeland.
Their names are honored with the inscription "Men's tomb of all the earth"
Next to it is the photo of the fallen Sminia flying Christos I. Papadopoulos, where he fell on 2.11.1940.
Also in memory of Michael and Eleni Moulou, donated by Aik. Moulou in the year 1999 there is also an outdoor fountain.
The back wooden door bears the inscription "donated by Antonios and Orsalia Zervou in memory of parents and brothers year 2011".
Another marble plaque on the bell tower reads "The bell tower of the Holy Temple of Agios Dimitrios was built halfway with the funding of the prefecture of Evia and the assistance of the parishioners of the sanctuary. the members for its construction. Salvation year 2019 ".
