★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο Ιερός Ναός του Αγίου Δημητρίου βρίσκεται στον συνοικισμό Χάνια Αγίου Βασιλείου, δίπλα από την παλαιά εθνική οδό Κορίνθου – Άργους Καλαμάτας. Η ανέγερση του άρχισε το 1965 με τις φιλότιμες προσπάθειες των κατοίκων του συνοικισμού, σε βυζαντινό ρυθμό με τρούλο. Ο ναός πρωτολειτούργησε στις 24/12/1971, ενώ στις 23/2/1973 έγινε η δημοσίευση στο Φ.Ε.Κ. η ίδρυση της ενορίας του Αγίου Δημητρίου. Eγκαινιάστηκε στις 22/3/1981 υπό του Μητροπολίτου Κορίνθου κ.κ. Παντελεήμονος. Έκτοτε διετέλεσαν καθήκοντα εφημερίου κατά σειρά οι Ιερείς: Aρχιμ. Αρίσταρχος Σαμιωτάκης 1973- 1974, Αρχιμ. Ευδόκιμος Μοναστερλής 1974- 1999 και Καρυοφύλλας Δημήτριος 1999 έως τούδε.
 The Church of Agios Dimitrios is located in the settlement of Chania Agios Vassilios, next to the old national road Corinth - Argos Kalamata. Its construction began in 1965 with the ambitious efforts of the inhabitants of the settlement, in Byzantine style with a dome. The church first operated on 24/12/1971, while on 23/2/1973 it was published in the Official Gazette. the establishment of the parish of Agios Dimitrios. It was inaugurated on 22/3/1981 by the Metropolitan of Corinth Mr. Panteleimon. Since then, the following priests have served as pastors: Archim. Aristarchos Samiotakis 1973-1974, Archim. Evdokimos Monasterlis 1974-1999 and Karyofillas Dimitrios 1999 until now.
