В конхе апсиды - изображение деисуса - Христос Вседержитель с Богоматерью и Иоанном Богословом, по сторонам от деисуса - Благовещение Богородицы, выше - Троица Ветхозаветная с гостеприимством Авраама. Ниже деисуса, по сторонам окна - святители Василий Великий и Иоанн Златоуст, слева от них - архидиакон Стефан, справа - архидиаконы Роман и Евпл. Автором фресок считают иконописца Иоанна Погоменоса.
The temple of the Apostle John the Theologian in the village of Elos, is located on the banks of the stream. Built in the first half of the XIV century and has a modern building mural painting. In the conch of the apse - the image of the deesis - Christ Almighty with the Mother of God and John the Evangelist, on either side of the deesis - the Annunciation of the Virgin, above - the Old Testament Trinity with the hospitality of Abraham. Below the deesis, on the sides of the window are St. Basil the Great and John Chrysostom, to their left is Archdeacon Stephen, to their right are Archdeacon Roman and Evpl. The author of the frescoes is the icon painter John Pogomenos.
