★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Επισκέφτηκα τον ιερό ναό για να προσκυνήσω τα Αγια λείψανα. Όλα καλά. Θα πρέπει να φτιαχτεί πρόσβαση για τα άτομα που βρίσκονται σε αναπηρικό αμαξιδιο.
I visited the sanctuary to worship the Holy Relics. All good. Wheelchair access should be provided.

Very beautiful church, but it is not accessible for the disabled, and the tile they put is very slippery for people with a cane

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η ανακαίνιση του Ι.Ν. της Μεταμόρφωσης του Σωτήρος στο Βύρωνα με τις προσπάθειες των ενοριτών ,του απλού κόσμου ,του Εκκλησιαστικού συμβουλίου έφεραν ένα εκπληκτικό αποτέλεσμα !
Λαμπρύνθηκε -κυρίως με τα μάρμαρα του δαπέδου με την στιλπνότητά τους κ τη καταύγασή τους από το φως του κεντρικού πολυελαίου του ναού- όπως και η ανάδειξη των πανέμορφων αγιογραφιών του Παντοκράτορος στον τρούλο ,της Παναγίας κ.α. που δείχνουν ότι <<Μετεμορφώθη>> και η ίδια η εκκλησία που πανηγυρίζει ανήμερα της μεγάλης αυτής δεσποτικής εορτής την 6η ημέρα του Αυγούστου !
The renovation of I.N. of the Transfiguration of the Savior in Byron with the efforts of the parishioners, the common people, the Ecclesiastical Council brought an amazing result!
It was illuminated -mainly with the marbles of the floor with their gloss and their radiance from the light of the central chandelier of the church- as well as the highlighting of the beautiful hagiographies of the Pantocrator in the dome, of the Virgin Mary etc. which show that "Metamorphose" and the church itself that celebrates on the day of this great despotic feast on the 6th day of August!
