★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is good place in 1.500m on the way to the peak of Mount Athos at 2.033m. You have a rest and make last steps in the afternoon or you can sleep there and make the final climb in the early morning (my recommendation). We have done in April 2018 and it was getting quite cold in the night. There is a open fireplace but it is difficult to some wood in the nearer environment. There no toilets and no electricity!
