A beautiful church in a small place in the NORTH, (MACEDONIA) of Greece. In 1km near the mountain Pangeon (1956m) population lives from agriculture. 15 minutes to the sea by car. At Easter, Christmas and other public holidays there is a nice atmosphere in the community of believers.

Χτίστηκε σε μέρος από τη δωρεά κάποιου με το όνομα Γεώργιος , εξού και το όνομα στον οποίο είναι αφιερωμένος ο ναός. Ενώ μία άλλη εκδοχή λέει ότι το όνομα το απέκτησε διότι και στον Πόντο έτσι ονομαζόταν ο εκεί ναός.
The sacred church of Agios Georgios Paleokomi is located in the upper square of the village. Built in part by a donation with the name George, hence the name to whom the church is dedicated. Another version says that it got its name because in Pontus this was the name of the church there.
