★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είναι η αγαπημένη μου εκκλησία!Όμορφος χώρος,καθαρός,όλοι με ευλάβεια ακούν την θεία λειτουργία,αλλά μερικές φορές κλαίνε τα μωρά,απλά είναι μωρά και δεν έχουν την υπομονή των μεγάλων!!!
It's my favorite church! Beautiful place, clean, everyone listens to the Divine Liturgy, but sometimes the babies cry, they are just babies and they don't have the patience of the adults !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Η Αγία Σοφία θεμελιώθηκε από τον Ελεύθερο Βενιζέλο τη μακρινή δεκαετία του 1930 κι υπήρξε η πρώτη μεγάλη εκκλησία της Κομοτηνής μετά την ανταλλαγή των πληθυσμών. Το μαρμάρινο τέμπλο της, της δίνει μια αίγλη διαφορετική. Σε αυτό βοηθούν αρκετά και οι τοιχογραφίες. Στις μέρες μας είναι πλεον, μια παλιά εκκλησία, οπότε οι χαρές κι οι λύπες που πέρασαν από εκεί ίσως αφήσουν κάτι και σε σας. Αν είστε κοντά, ανάψτε ένα κεράκι.
Hagia Sophia was founded by Eleftheros Venizelos in the distant 1930s and was the first large church in Komotini after the exchange of populations. Its marble iconostasis gives it a different glamor. The frescoes also help a lot in this. Nowadays it is an old church, so the joys and sorrows that passed by there may leave something to you. If you are close, light a candle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ τάξη κατάνυξη.ευλόγημενοι ιερείς.Δυσρυχως αρκετοί δεν φορούσαν μάσκα. Κρατούσαν όμως αποστάσεις.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Από τους παλαιότερους και μεγαλύτερους ενοριακούς Ναούς της Κομοτηνής. Η ενορία του καλύπτει τη νοτιοδυτική πλευρά της πόλης. Αγιογραφημένη σε ποσοστό άνω του 75% . Είναι Ναός αφιερωμένος στην του Θεού Σοφία, το αριστερό κλίτος στη Σύναξη των Αγίων Αποστόλων και το δεξιό κλίτος στον Άγιο Χαράλαμπο. Στο προαύλιο του ναού υπάρχει μεγάλη αίθουσα εκδηλώσεων. Προσφέρεται συσσίτιο απόρων σε περίπου 60 άτομα.Διακονείται από τους Πατέρες Πορφύριο, Δημήτριο και Αναστάσιο.
One of the oldest and largest parish churches of Komotini. Its parish covers the southwest side of the city. Hagiographed at a rate of over 75%. It is a Temple dedicated to the Wisdom of God, the left aisle in the Gathering of the Holy Apostles and the right aisle in Agios Charalambos. In the courtyard of the temple there is a large event hall. A meal for the needy is offered to about 60 people. It is served by Fathers Porphyrios, Demetrios and Anastasios.
