The Church of Saints Theodore, or Beautiful Church, celebrates every year on the first Saturday of the Great Lent, so the Church commemorates the miraculous miracle performed by Saint Theodore Tyron.
N	Nikos Kampylis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είναι το καλύτερα διατηρημένο βυζαντινό μνημείο της Αίγινας. Είναι κτισμένο τον 13ο αιώνα με πελεκητούς πωρόλιθους. Εσωτερικά ο ναός είναι αγιογραφημένος και οι τοιχογραφίες του θεωρούνται ως οι παλαιότερες σωζόμενες στην Αίγινα. Διατηρούνται σε καλή κατάσταση, με εξαίρεση την κατώτερη ζώνη και είναι οι αρχικές του ναού χωρίς να έχουν υποστεί κάποια ανακαίνιση. Αξίζει να τον επισκευθείτε, αρκεί να τον βρείτε ανοιχτό! Ο ναός βρίσκεται σε μικρή απόσταση από το λιμάνι, σχεδόν 2 Κm και φτάνετε περπατώντας σε 20-25 λεπτά. It is the best preserved Byzantine monument of Aegina. It was built in the 13th century with chiseled limestone. Inside the church is frescoed and its frescoes are considered to be the oldest surviving in Aegina. They are kept in good condition, with the exception of the lower zone and are the original church without any renovation. It's worth a visit, as long as you find it open! The temple is a short walk from the port, almost 2 Km and you can reach it in 20-25 minutes.
E	Evangelos Fragkotsinos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένας μικρός ναός του 13ου αιώνα, χτισμένος με λαξευτή τοιχοποιία και εσωτερικά κατάγραφος με εξαιρετικής ποιότητας τοιχογραφίες (εκτεταμένος χριστολογικός κύκλος, άγιοι, Παναγία Βρεφοκρατούσα με αρχαγγέλους). Σύμφωνα με εντοιχισμένη επιγραφή στην δυτική όψη ο ναός ανακαινίσθηκε το 1289. Στην πρόσοψη του υπάρχουν ακιδογραφήματα πλοίων. Αξίζει οπωσδήποτε μια επίσκεψη. A small church of the 13th century, built with carved masonry and internally recorded with exceptional quality frescoes (extensive Christological circle, saints, Panagia Vrefokratousa with archangels). According to a wall inscription on the west side, the church was renovated in 1289. On its facade there are ship markings. Definitely worth a visit.
