Εύκολα προσβάσιμη από τον κεντρικό δρόμο, στην όμορφη πλατεία δεσπόζει ο ιερός ναός της Μεταμορφώσεως του Σωτήρος. Το καμπαναριό της ιδιαίτερο και εντυπωσιακό, όπως και όλη η αρχιτεκτονική της. Ένα προσκύνημα από τον περαστικό σίγουρα το αξίζει. Εν Εκκλησίες ευλογείτε τον Θεό! This church is majestic and dazzling! The holy temple of the Transfiguration of the Savior dominates the beautiful square, easily accessible from the main road. Its bell tower is special and impressive, as is all its architecture. Vilia, the mountain pearl of Attica, located in the valley connecting the Kitajron and Pateras ranges, at an altitude of 500 m above sea level. The pride and decoration of the village is the Church of the Transfiguration, considered one of the most beautiful churches in Greece. The design of the temple was made by the well-known German architect Ernest Ziller. Construction work was carried out under his supervision and was completed in 1893.

A very picturesque church with amazing architecture and very beautiful colors. It is worth paying attention to architectural details, such as the doors, the stairwells and the bell tower of the temple. All very nicely preserved. They refer to people who care for and love the church. Very well maintained and the square around. A very beautiful place and picturesque at the same time.
