Our family of four had a wonderful time staying at Cinque Terra apartments last year! The apartment was meticulously clean and welcoming. The host, Dionysis, was very helpful and attentive to all of our needs, whether it was related to our stay at the apartment or suggestions on where to go. There was an elevator available which was great for carrying our luggage to the floors above ground level. The free parking was a definite plus as well. There was a washing machine and air conditioner as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Our unit had been recently updated and the decor was very pleasing and inviting. The balcony was a great place to enjoy our breakfast in the morning with a view of the Ionian Sea. The most important thing about the apartment was the location. Staying in town has its advantages of course, but parking is an absolute nightmare and getting into and out of town to go to the beach or other destination is time consuming because of the traffic. It was great to be able to stay close to town without having to worry about parking and the town was close enough to visit whenever we wanted. (Adding a note to mention that we had a car so we only drove to town, we never needed to walk to it to comment on the walking distance or ease) The host was quick to mention that the beach in front of the apartment was not at a swimmable beach. And although there is a road in between the apartment and the water, it doesn’t matter unless you are looking for a resort to stay on the beach. The view is still much better than a crammed unit in town facing nothing in particular. We really enjoyed our view on the balcony. If you want a unit directly on a beach then there are other options available. But if you want a beautiful apartment with a view, that is close to town and that allows you to more easily drive to other destinations then this is definitely the place for you! You will love it! I can’t wait to visit Zakynthos again soon! Our trip was in 2019. I guess the review that I wrote back then didn’t go through so I’m rewriting it again!
