Marilena and her collaborators generously and seamlessly try to teach us the art of ceramics! It is not just a workshop dealing with ceramics but also great and essential learning on the subject, not only in practice but in combination with the necessary knowledge to better understand the art of ceramist!

The pottery studio of "Clay Forms Sculpture" was a very special place to me. I attended "Ceramic Sculpting Form" with Marilena and "Pottery Wheel" with Stavros for four years. Since I didn’t speak Greek, my classes were in English. The teachers of are not only professionally excellent teachers but also very special human beings. They introduced me to the art of ceramics with inexhaustible patience. Their knowledge and ideas have been inspiring. I not only learned to work with ceramics but also received so much background knowledge. From materials to special techniques and the history of clay. Throughout the four years, various workshops were offered, some of which I participated in and was able to learn specific skills. I always felt encouraged and challenged to get really creative and learned that pottery is not at all only about craftsmanship. It teaches you a lot about yourself. The atmosphere in the studio in Keramikos is bright, friendly and warm. This thanks not only to the premises and the teachers but also the overwhelmingly nice fellow students who were always ready to help. Also, the studio is perfectly equipped with all the appliances and tools. I highly recommend the studio. I believe there’s nothing even close. Marilena, Stavros and Mirka: I thank you with all my heart for these four wonderful years and I honestly can’t wait to come back and continue where I left off. I miss you all!
