★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ευχάριστη έκπληξη για το μέρος που βρίσκεται. Συμμαζεμενη κουζίνα με ωραία πρώτα πιάτα. Τα κρέατα θέλουν βελτίωση στο ψήσιμο. Αρκετά ήταν πάρα ψημένα και στεγνά. Ευγενικό προσωπικό και πολύ καλές τιμές.
 Pleasant surprise for the place it is located. Compact kitchen with nice first courses. Meats need improvement in cooking. Many were overcooked and dry. Kind staff and very good prices.

Από μικρό παιδί, η μητέρα μου έπαιρνε από τον Χατζηφωτίου κάτι εκπληκτικά βουτήματα (γλυκά κουλουράκια) τα οποία μοσχοβολούσαν βούτυρο… Και φυσικά αυτές είναι αναμνήσεις που δε σβήνουν εύκολα.
Πλέον, ως μόνιμος κάτοικος Αθηνών, είχα χρόνια να επισκεφτώ τον Χατζηφωτίου (που δυστυχώς έχει καταστήματα μόνο Χαλκιδική, Θεσσαλονίκη και Ρόδο). Στην τελευταία μου εκδρομή στα πάτρια εδάφη λοιπόν, είπα ότι πρέπει να ξαναπάρω εκείνα τα κουλουράκια που μας έπαιρνε η μαμά όταν περνούσε από εκεί…
Περιττό να πω ότι συνεχίζουν οι άνθρωποι να έχουν το ίδιο μεράκι και την ίδια ΕΚΠΛΗΚΤΙΚΗ συνταγή για αυτά τους τα βουτήματα (που ακόμη μοσχοβολούν βούτυρο)…
Ανεβάζω και φωτογραφία για να ξέρετε τι να ζητήσετε (εκτός των υπολοίπων που σίγουρα θα πάρετε…)

As a small child, my mother used to get some amazing crackers (sweet cookies) from Hadjifotiou that smelled of butter… And of course these are memories that do not fade easily.
Now, as a permanent resident of Athens, I had years to visit Hatzifotiou (who unfortunately has stores only in Halkidiki, Thessaloniki and Rhodes). So on my last trip to my homeland, I said I had to take back those cookies our mom used to take when she passed by.
Needless to say, people continue to have the same taste and the same AMAZING recipe for their crackers (which still smell like butter)…
I am also uploading a photo so that you know what to ask for (apart from the rest that you will definitely get…)
