★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't know about the travel guide but I have visited the Benitses area of Corfu and had a lovely holiday. The local people are extremely nice and you can sightsee by bus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great area....with many restaurants. ....the Old Town and walk up to the radar and monastery is well worth it for the view. We were made to feel very welcome by everyone we met. A great bast to catch the bus to Corfu Town and also hire a car or bike. Highly recommended.
