It was our first time in Nidri, and was it memorable.. Everything here was amazing Voula and Remy were the perfect hosts from the moment we arrived to the moment we left they made us feel like family. Located perfectly just off the main street so everything is around you, the rooms were amazing and even exceeded what I expected. we never made it breakfast being in holiday mode, but lunch was exactly what you wanted and how you wanted it... nothing is too much for them! The cocktails kept coming and we couldn't fault one of them and they were very well priced which made them go down even easier. All the staff made every effort to help us have the best time, offering help from where the best shops were, to saving us money with excursions through the community! We have already began planning our next visit here and cannot wait to return!! When we left Voula and Remy even gave us a lovely parting gift which was completely unexpected and cemented what a great place this is to stay! Thank you both so much for the amazing memories that we'll treasure Adam & Eileen

Last night here at the Cosmopol and we don’t want to go home. We have had the best 2 weeks here with our lovely hosts Voula and Remy. The hotel is in an ideal location just of the main ‘strip’ with the sports bars, restaurants, the harbour and the beach, however the hotel is in a lovely, peaceful and quiet location. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun beds to go around. What we enjoyed the most was the tranquility of the pool area and how lovely and calm it was. We ate at the pool bar everyday for our lunch and the food was amazing every day! Very well and reasonably priced and would recommend having lunch at the pool bar. I could go on and on about how much we loved this hotel and we shall most definitely come back here again if we return to greece which we hope to do next year. Many thanks to Voula and Remy for being so good to us and we have enjoyed your company thoroughly.

We had a lovely time. Voula and Renee were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well looked after. Breakfast was good. Location just right. We will be going again next year.

Nice, friendly, well located hotel in the heart of town. Rooms are nice, not big, but adequate for sleeping or relaxing in the afternoon. Cleaned daily. Small cooking area, with fridge and kettle. Continental breakfast provided, with fried eggs on demand. Small bar by the nice sized pool. Would recommend.

Edit: please note, there is a sign in every room saying you can raise any issues with management. Having said that, I didn't raise my issue below regarding the bed. I had put the issue down to my back being the way it is because the hubby didn't have such an issue. In hindsight, I could've said something because they do have mattress toppers and are more than happy to help! This is a lovely little place to stay. The rooms are kept clean. The views from the front are lovely, the back not so much. I'm a wheelchair user but can also use crutches on a limited basis. When we booked this, we did know there were no rooms on the ground floor, only first and second floor. So we just made sure we requested a first floor room. The bit we didn't know is that the "standard" rooms are in a detached building. It's not far to go, but all the same it should be in the write up, as breakfast is in the main building as is the pool. Despite putting about my disabilities in the booking, we were given a very small room to begin with. Not big enough to keep my chair with me, but when the manager saw me on arrival she did offer straight away to move us to a bigger room when it became available. So, 5 night's in the smaller of the rooms then the rest of the fortnight in a bigger room. Just as a warning, the beds are very hard which my back didn't cope with. Easy fix is sleeping on a lilo (actually not too bad), but then the beds won't be an issue for a lot of people. Despite the odd issue, really based around my disabilities, we would really recommend this place. It's clean, it's in a gorgeous place so near to the fabulous harbour, staff are pleasant, pool is beautiful. Feel confident with your stay. Just some things to consider if you are disabled!

Good parts : - the women host at the reception was very nice and helpful - the room cleaning was also ok Bad parts : - no free parking available in the area - wifi internet is very very bad/slow. - the room walls are very thin, and you can hear all the noise made in the building by the cleaning staff/ neighbors. So it is very hard to relax/sleep - the pool is just for show off. It s schedule is very strict , untill 7 pm, no music is alowed, no outside drinks, etc etc. - the pool related staff also unfriendly.

Wow. From the moment we arrived at Cosmopol we were made to feel extremely welcome. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms were lovely and spotlessly clean. The pool area was immaculate. There were plenty of loungers and parasols (which were needed as luckily the sun was there all day). The 'barman' Remy makes an excellent Singapore Sling and an equally excellent omelette. Voula and Remy are very knowledgeable about where to go, best beaches, best places to take photographs etc. Cosmopol is in a lovely winding lane. Clearly marked with no parking signs. But no problem, there is a car park over the road. The only issue we had during our stay was when a group of people turned up who clearly should have been at a place with waterslides and all night bars. They were brash, rude and had no consideration for the owners, staff or the guests. They were constantly yelling. Our room was below some of the group and they kept moving the furniture around in the middle of the night. They complained that the pool closed at 7. They complained that they couldn't play loud music. Constantly left their cars in the road, causing problems with the traffic. and they were just generally unpleasant. All of that aside I would not hesitate to recommend the Cosmopol it was a fantastic holiday with truly wonderful hosts. Voula and Remy thank you. We will be back in October

Ideal location in center of nidri modern rooms looking at the pictures i thought there would be ground floor rooms but no only 1st and 2nd floor.About six steep steps to the pool bar and more steps to the rooms and quite slippy at times. Not recommended if you find walking difficult
