What an amazing experience! The service, atmosphere & food are top notch. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by very friendly staff who are attentive to what you need. I also want to shout out how great they were noticing I was left-handed and adjusting how they set each course down so that it worked for me. The setting is calm where you sit in the courtyard, there is nice music playing & as the sun sets the lighting turns on and creates an even nicer atmosphere. They let you choose whether you want to take your time beforehand and enjoy some drinks first (same at the end for dessert). Once they get started it's a nicely paced meal and the food is unbelievable. Unique takes on food which aren't too unique that it makes you question trying it. And believe me it is plenty of food despite the small portions! I love the blind taste aspect of going into the restaurant and just trusting you are going to have good food. Definitely a must to visit CTC on your visit to Athens if you are looking for good food and a unique, upscale experience!

I'll just come out and say it. Michelin missed it on this place. I have been to over 20 Michelin Star Restaurants, but this is the first time I've been to an underrated place. It should be a hard 2 star, at least. Many I have been to were very overrated, pretentious with robotic-like wait staff. I'll break this into 3 categories, atmosphere, food, and service. 1. Atmosphere: in the middle of the Kerameikos neighborhood, you sit on a couch bench at a table under a tree on a patio. You almost forget you're in Athens. Nice lighting and comfortable seating. 2. Food: usually, food is food and every once in a while, you get a portion that is good. Not CTC. Started off very strong and every 0pate got better and better. I was quite sad, yet very excited when the meal was completed. I left feeling more euphoric, then when I left Osteria Francescana (3 Star and my favorite Michelin restaurant, until now) in 2016. I say, and it might be controversial, CTC's tasting menu was better than Francescana's. I could go into detail on each plate, but sometimes the words cannot be expressed verbally and I'm still trying. 3. Service: from other reviews, this is where some people have complained. I try not to complain, especially with service due to the human factor. The staff were very friendly, inviting, and very engaging with answering questions, and small talk. There was a time or 2 where one of the servers stumbled on her words, but that is not a big deal. They seemed very excited about each plate and, along with the sommelier, explained every dish or wine for each course. They were friendly, knowledgable, and engaging. Chef Alex came to the table and I told him how each dish made me feel (to the best of my ability). He was very nice, attentive, and appreciative of my feedback. Again, CTC should have a 2nd star amd is definitely worth the reservation if you're in Athens.

Genuinely such an amazing experience! An 11 course blind menu is served and it is well worth it. We chose to do the wine pairings, which I would highly recommend to accompany your delicious meal! The food was so delicious. I've never had an experience quite like this!

Unforgettable experience! 11 dishes full of imagination and innovation. Pre-set menu, 6 savoury and 5 sweet dishes. The savoury ones are coming first and are by far the best. Our favourites were the fish dishes. The most innovative dish was the 'cauliflower' dessert though. Amazing service and atmosphere! The only reason for a four and not a five star, is due to the restaurant's request for our group's non-meat eaters to pay in advance. We don't believe that a Michelin restaurant should force its clients to pay in advance, in order for it to satisfy different dietary requirements. Afterall fish was the main ingredient of the majority of the dishes. The experience was amazing but I don't think we would visit again.

Once again I visit this beautiful restaurant and now its after getting 1 michelin star and they fully deserve it. First of all the new place is beautiful and well designed. Second the service is sublime! Last is the food that is amazing as expected Must visit in Athens if you love high end food and restaurants. Cant wait for my next visit

We had the 11 course tasting menu. All the dishes were fantastic! Very tasty and state of the art in the looks too! The wine was phenomenal too. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a gastronomy experience in Athens.

CTC is located in a developing area in Athens, in beautiful building with a really nice outdoor space. The restaurant recently got its first Michelin star and for a good reason. The entire menu was a great fine dining experience. Best plates: Well, all of them. I would note that the cauliflower and the peanuts desert were outstanding. Flat plates: There wasn't any plate that was bad. If I could make a comment I would say that the "spinach pie" was more salty than I would like, the brioche and the bread were not of my liking.

We visited CTC in February on holiday. From what I understand it’s a relatively new Michelin star restaurant, so we were excited to try it. Right from the get-go we had a good impression of the restaurant - even before arriving - as the restaurant maintained attentive email correspondences with us to confirm the reservation, check for dietary restrictions, and inform us of COVID requirements. The actual dinner began with an introduction of the chef’s overall culinary philosophy, which was a nice thematic overture to the experience. The food was excellent both in presentation and taste. While the dishes weren’t the wildest I’ve tasted or seen, every course had something interesting about it and nothing was boring. The chef’s creativity was palpable throughout the tasting menu, keeping us entertained as well as well-fed. Service was impeccable. In particular, the wait staff did an outstanding job introducing each course and keeping the presentation more than just a list of ingredients. The restaurant’s clearly out to tell a cohesive gastronomical story (instead of merely assembling a list of the chef’s best hits), for which we were appreciative. Lastly, it’s 85 euros per person … which is a steal when compared vs. other similarly talented Michelin starred restaurants.
