Don't let the wait for a tbake put you off, it's worth the wait! Super easy to order with a tick list presented to you at the table! The food is INCREDIBLE! What an absolute GEM! Xx

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After our hotel owner recommended us two places to dine nearby, we chose this place first. The staff wasn't friendly but wasn't unfriendly as well. It's rather a smaller place than most of the Tavernas around it. They seated us quickly and handed us a block of paper. It's more like a list of their menu. You check what you want to eat and the quantity and then hand it back to the waiter. My vegetarian food wasn't anything special. My boyfriends meat was apparently very good. (he chose bunny. ... I'd love to have a bunny as a pet...) Unfortunately I did not like their red wine. All in all it was a nice place to try but I would not necessarily recommend it. There are better ones nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I came to Crete the first time my expat friend took me to this place because she saw many locals ate here. Servings were generous for the price and everything was tasty.
Today my husband and I were in the area so I suggested to come here again. We enjoyed everything we ordered and also the joyful atmosphere. Everyone seems to be having a great happy meal and even the staff looked happy working there. Very efficient and friendly service.
Food is all traditional Greek food that you probably can find in other restaurants but everything was made wonderfully and we could taste the freshness of the ingredients. Other customers saw us looking at their food while studying the menu and they excitedly recommended us the good food they were having!

Want to have some more? Order an extra portion.
It can get very busy so sometimes be patient, they work hard to serve all.
Very fresh vegetables, fish and meats.
Try the local meat and sausages.
