L	Laura Hayward on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give this place a million stars, I would !!! Undoubtedly the best place I have ever stayed in. We stayed for three nights and quite honestly, could not have had a more wonderful time. The cavehouse is magical, and Andrew and Marcel are absolutely brilliant. We could not have felt more welcome, and they could not have made our trip more special. The extra touches that they gave, the level of thoughtfulness that was put into our stay was unlike anything I have ever received! The cavehouse itself is absolutely amazing, so tastefully decorated and it feels like a little oasis within an oasis - that being Pyrgos. We travelled into Fira for a few hours and could not have been more relieved to come back to our little haven! Our experience of Santorini would not have been the same had we not stayed in Pyrgos and at the cavehouse. We plan to return as soon as we can - and cannot thank Andrew and Marcel for everything they did for us. Andrew was always extremely responsive answering my many questions and I really could not recommend this place more highly!!! If you do one thing... then stay here!!! You will NOT be disappointed!
x	xris mar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our stay here in beautiful Pyrgos! The Demeter Cave House is the most beautiful place we’ve stayed at and every corner of it looks amazing. The jacuzzi is perfect at night since it’s heated and the couple’s rainshowers are a dream! Another highlight is the marshall sound system, which we really enjoyed. You have everything you need, like bottled water, an iron, beach towels, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and so on.. The host, Andrew, is very helpful and we loved every recommendation he gave us. Next time we visit Santorini we will definitely stay here again, everything was perfect!

Andrew is a host who listens to your needs and will give you good advice. Pyrgos is a pretty village combining authenticity and beauty and the nights are calm! Central position to visit the island of Santorini We spent some beautiful days here !

The jacuzzi and the roof terrace were my highlights. The village of Pyrgos is lovely and you don’t really need to leave the area in order to enjoy amazing views and good food. Andrew and marcel are so lovely and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again and have recommended it to all my friends!

From the moment that Andrew welcomed us we felt so relaxed! When we saw the interior of Demeter Cave House we couldn't believe it! The bed is so magical,comfortable living room and the kitchen is full equipped (we loved the espresso machine). The sexiest bathroom we have ever seen and finally a proper well take cared jacuzzi, hot and very very clean!!! We defenetely recommend Demeter Cave House for unforgettable moments! Thank you Andrew once again!

The jacuzzi was heated and perfect to calm down at the evenings after a long day of exploring. Also the terrace invited to enjoy the sunset and the breathtaking views. In our opinion we made the best decision with demeter cave house and would recommend it to everyone! And on the top there is Andrew, the host of the cave house. He was always very helpful and kind. He gave us tips for restaurants, day trips and made reservations (we always had the best table :)). The only thing we regret is that we haven't booked more nights at this stunning place.

Andrew is such a nice person and the perfect host. He cares about everything and gives you a very safe feeling that someone looks after you on a foreign place. It feels like home! Pyrgos is a perfect place to stay in Santorini… wonderful, central, peaceful, authentic and with very good restaurants! You feel like an inhabitant not like a tourist. We are very sad to leave back to Germany and would give more than 5 stars!

We missed a day in Santorini due to flight delays and Andrew was so helpful in giving us tips and ideas of the must see's that allowed us to still feel like we had the full experience while there. The Demeter Cave house is so beautifully designed, it was a real gift to stay in such a beautiful and unique place. Designed to feel private though in the middle of the village of Pygros. Comfortable beds! If we ever make it back this is where we would look to stay and would highly recommend to anyone else traveling to the island. It is a drive to the more tourist areas of the island but was worth it for the quaint and quiet nights.
