★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα τμήματα φυσικής στην Ευρώπη από άποψη αριθμού καθηγητών. Ωστόσο δυστυχώς η πλειοψηφία εξ' αυτών δεν παράγει κατ' ουσίαν ούτε διδακτικό ούτε ερευνητικό έργο. Κάκιστη οργάνωση του προγράμματος σπουδών. Αξιοπρεπείς υποδομές.
One of the largest physics departments in Europe in terms of number of teachers. Unfortunately, however, the majority of them produce virtually neither teaching nor research work. Highly organized curriculum. Decent infrastructure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Μόνο δέος για το επίπεδο της γνώσης που μπορεί να αποκτήσει κάποιος σε αυτό το τμήμα. Πυρηνική και Αστροφυσική οι αγαπημένες κατευθυνσεις. Πτυχιο στα 4 χρονια.
Only awe for the level of knowledge that one can acquire in this department. Nuclear and Astrophysics are the favorite directions. Degree in 4 years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High level undergraduate and graduate courses. Terrible organization. Huge variation in faculty level. Some professors are extremely intelligent and excellent teachers (better than MIT / Caltech). A few others confuse the virial theorem with conservation of energy, and should not even be teaching in highschool.... I really don't know how they got their degrees... Thankfully many of them are retiring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good knowledge level. Terrible organizing on most cases, very good on a handfull ones'. Dont know if i would suggest it to anyone, every student here hates himself for their choice. But hey at least you will have endless possibilities for MSc (if you first get your degree). Good luck if you choose it, you will need it.
