The studio apartment was very comfortable and functional. The small terrace outside with sea and sunset view was wonderful. Small improvements: we could not control the A/C, it was either on or unplugged. The refrigerator makes very loud machine noises, but of course can be unplugged during the night. The mechanism to fill the toilet water tank was very often stuck, requiring a quick opening of the tank and adjusting. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and were always available, even for a late check in. There is parking on site. The beach is a short walk away over an unpaved road--probably the nicest beach of the island. Nearest supermarket is about 30 min away on foot over unpaved road. Same for some quite good restaurants. Doable, but have a flashlight if walking at night. Getting to and from Naxos port without a car is not easy, about a half hour walk to a bus stop, and another half hour bus ride. In sum, excellent value for money. Best for people wishing to spend the day at the beach, otherwise a car is strongly recommended.
