★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comfortable, well-appointed apartment in a great location. Elina has made a beautiful and comfortable place to stay with great amenities like a luxurious shower, front and back balconies, and a washing machine. Elina is a fantastic host, who provides excellent recommendations for places to eat and things to do. We ate at some incredible restaurants off the beaten path and avoided tourist traps thanks to her. She stocked the kitchen with cretan honey, oil, fruits, beer, etc., and even brought over a casserole her grandmother made when we checked in. Everything made for a perfect stay in Chania. So much so we came back to stay at Elina's place the next year! I can't say enough good things about the apartment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing stay. Nothing “design” about it. Mainly the issues with the cleanliness (lack of it): unsanitary bedding and dirty kitchen utensils. No sound insulation, traffic noise from outside. Wifi non functional. Unfortunately, the host won’t take criticism to improve, but will go with accusations that the guests are liars. I’m adding the pics. The pictures are actually the proof that I have indeed stayed at the apartment. 180 reviews on my account does proof this is not a scam profile and the review is genuine. If the host is not able to accept the objective critique, then it shows quite a lot about her bizarre attitude.
