★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing special. Rooms were dark, and the decor was falling apart. As soon as you hit the stairs you get a sense of depression due to low light. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was satisfying!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing quality for a good price. Clean place, very kind staff, super helpful always giving good tips and advice. Excellent and large breakfast, with a lot of options in unlimited quantity, with homemade jam and honey. Very confortable rooms and beds. Very central location in the historical center, the city is lovely. Easy to park close. We will definitely come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute & sweet -- both the village-size ex-capital in warmest corner of Peloponnese & the boutique-hotel under the insanely high rock-castle of Venetians against Ottomans with stairs of 999 steps -- very close to these steps uphill, just beside the city bus station and short walking distance to the local farm food market -- exclusive spacy rooms, inclusive breakfast of handmade yoghurt, so thick that it can hold spoon standing upright, with jams of chestnut, cherry, orange and cydonia/ quince.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious bedrooms, nicely decorated. Three minutes walk from KTEL long-distance bus station and in the old town with all main attractions nearby. Most helpful owner (Michael) offers knowledgeable insight into the history of Nafplio. Be sure to ask his advice on what to see and do locally and seek tips on your onward travel plans - nothing seems too much trouble.
Complimentary wi-fi access. Standard breakfast buffet - unremarkable by international standards, but as good as most Greek hotels offer. Reception desk not manned overnight: key to outside entrance door provided for access after hours.
No lift and all rooms on first floor or higher - so possibly not suited for those with mobility problems.

" renew " of course at the same time! And it has it's own history! This hotel had been the former house of Dimitrios Ypsilantis (1794 - 1832) HERO OF THE GREEK WAR OF INDEPENDENCE BACK IN 1821 AGAINST THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two friends and I recently spent a great three nights at Hotel Dias. The staff were amazing, so helpful and welcoming. The room was just right for three people, including a balcony with a view of the fort on the hill. Breakfast was amazing!! Beds were comfortable, great water pressure in the shower and everything was super clean. Parking was tricky but totally doable and the location was perfect. Such a quaint, comfortable, friendly place to stay, we absolutely loved it. Do know that the stairs are a bit tricky (uneven heights and pretty steep). I would stay again! Thanks Hotel Dias for our great stay!
