Nice place amid lively olive groves

Perfect stay amazing place great hospitality

Old Farm House, Holiday Rental. What a lovely old property that can easily accommodate eight. Two spacious doubles plus a twin upstairs and a gorgeous cosy double downstairs (there are also a sofa bed and an extra bed). Fully equipped kitchen, large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with loads of seating. Beautiful balcony and patio overlooking 6 hectares olive trees plus landscape and the sea beyond. There are also rabbits, chickens and a lovely (calm beyond belief) dog called Biko. Pavlos the farm owner is absolutely lovely and has given us so much help and advice. He also has delivered us all sorts of fresh goodies from the farm every day (courgettes, lemons, figs, eggs) plus homemade wine, schnapps, jam, olive oil, almonds and walnuts. A car is essential for a stay here (but I would recommend having a car anyway to explore the island and the numerous amazing beaches of Zákynthos) as you are a few kilometres away from the centre of things. It is really peaceful but not too far away from the action. It's also right in the middle of the northeastern coast and equidistant for trips to the far north (St Nicholas Port - boat trips to Shipwreck Beach and the Blue Caves, ferry to Kefalonia & Xigia Beach - sulphur springs running into the sea) and the southeastern tip (Gerakas Beach - Stunning beach!). We have had wall-to-wall sunshine every day but not unbearable and a lovely breeze comes through each afternoon/evening to take the sting out of the heat (2nd week July). I would highly recommend this place to a large family or a couple of small families. We have loved every minute here and have fallen for Zákynthos.

Amazing view. Beautiful house with enough space for a big group of people (we were 7), only a few minutes to the city center. The hosts are very kind and helpful to provide us with everything we needed. We loved their homemade organic wine, olive oil and the delicious jams!

Splendid location with a great traditional stone house inside 7 hectares of olive trees. Four bedrooms are available with three double beds and two single ones. Pavlos, the owner, was absolutely great and gave us the best advice on what to do on the island. There are also chickens and rabbits near by.
