Probably the most unprofessional car rental company. We required a car from them on May 26 and received two emails confirming our reservation by May the 28th, even agreed to their terms to pay in cash. On the 12th of August, 5 days before our departure I send them an email to check (reconfirm) if everything was allright. They called me at the end of the day saying that at first they couldnt find our reservation and then, they found all the emails but they booked our car elsewhere and will not be able to have a car for us. Though, they will look for us but we should not have our hopes high. At the moment in Corfu it was very difficult to find a rental, I made more than 30 phone calls and if was able to locate a car it was for trible the price. They tried to ruin our 1st Family vacation after 2 years, before we even travel to Corfu... We ended up paying double the price of our first booking and they had the nerves to reply to my email with a very disturbing email, saying that they gave us enough warning... Our Advice: Please dont make the mistake to book with them, other companies mentioned that they do that all the time.

We hired a car from Dimitra & Manos Corfu Car Rentals which is on the main road in San Stephanos. What a huge mistake that was!!! They were very unprofessional, rude and unhelpful, if anything happens to the car whilst you are travelling - do not expect much help. The car was very underpowered for the Corfu roads and batteries did not hold their charge very well. We had to ring their office when the car did not start after visiting Paleokastritsa monastery, but they told us to try to sort things out ourselves. We could not get a mobile signal there so we were effectively stranded. Only after a few hours we found a cafe owner at the back of the Paleocatritsa aquarium attraction, who was so kind to talk to the rental company and asked them to use other local rental agents to help us. Unfortunately, they brought charging jump leads which were only a half full. The bar owner had to charge them at his bar for another hour trying to help us in our desperate situation - with nobody around speaking English and the rental company not willing to do much for us. At the end we were able to start the car and came back to our hotel. However, next morning the car did not start again at all. Once again, the owner came only 1.5 hrs later. By then we had enough and just wanted a refund for that day as we had no confidence at that car any longer. What is more - there was a warning engine light on at the dashboard. In response, the owner was quite rude to us up to the point of insulting. He also tried it on to charge us € 60 for the faulty batteries. Eventually, we have got our refund but our day was totally ruined. No way after that performance we would recommend anyone to use them.

Fabulous local island firm. We had a spot of bother navigating Corfu town on our first night and they went out of their way to help us. We can't thank them enough. There is no way one of the international car hire companies would have provided us with the level of help we needed that night. Thank you so much and continued success.

I have rented a car between 29th August and 5th September. Everything was great.

We have been using Dimitra & Manos car hire three times a year for over ten years , the service has alway been excellent.Manos is alway on time when we arrive and the car is always spotless and in excellent condition.Over the years, Manos and his family have become true and valued friends. They really can not do enough for you. No other car rental company comes close , and I can't recommend them enough .

Don't make the mistake to rent car from Dimitra Manos car rent. Mafian people. I reserved a car 2 months ago and two days before the date they said to me that they don't have cars finally. After I visited their web page and the car was there for the days that i wanted but in double money prize! I found a solution because of nice people that i know at Corfu. In another case is ruinning your holidays so don't let them. It's a same to be these people because Kerkirian people are perfect in hospitality.

Excellent hassle free car hire in Sidari, toddler seat included at no extra cost. Car was an almost new Fiat Panda. Will use next time. Thanks!
