★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time I went to a mechanic after many years, as I learned to fix my motorcycles in order to avoid them. Long story short, I was away from home and needed urgent repairs. He performed a complete engine teardown and rebuild in order to fix the problem, and found no other issues. I know for a fact he did a great job, better than I ever could, I know that there were no other issues to be found, he charged me reasonably and was 100% honest. First time in my life this ever happens with a mechanic. Treat him with respect and do what he says, no questions asked. Take this advice from a home mechanic.
