Je krijgt een zeer duidelijke uitleg over de boot en zelfs een korte vaarles voor degene die het nog nooit gedaan heeft. Daarnaast suggesties voor leuke plaatsen en stranden waar je makkelijk aan kan meren. Ook heeft hij een zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding ten opzichte van de vaak grotere aanbieders om hem heen. Dit komt onder andere omdat hij zelf monteur is (geweest) en zelf zijn motoren onderhoud. De 2e motor die bij andere aanbieders aan de boot hangt (en die je dus betaald) heb je dan eigenlijk niet nodig. Het feit dat hij hier al sinds 1981 zit zegt ook wel genoeg. Ik zou zeggen: doen! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to rent a boat in Nidri. You get a very clear explanation about the boat and even a short sailing lesson for those who have never done it before. In addition, suggestions for nice places and beaches where you can easily moor. He also has a very good price / quality ratio compared to the often larger providers around him. This is partly due to the fact that he himself (has been) a technician and maintains his engines himself. D	Delia Mustelierova on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Úžasné místo, úžasný člověk, úžasný zážitek. Doporučuji všemi deseti. Oproti dalším předraženým půjčovnám blíže k zátoce lepší ceny, lepší přístup. Příště na Lefkadě zase půjčíme loď tady Amazing place, amazing person, amazing experience. I recommend all ten. Compared to other overpriced rental companies closer to the bay better prices, better access. Next time in Lefkada, we'll lend a boat here

Eenmaal daar aangekomen begon de eigenaar heel dominant en bazig met de uitleg over het gebied. Iets waar wij wel respect voor hebben, aangezien je de passie voor zijn boten zag. Daarna gingen we op de boot en kregen uitleg over de boot. Vanuit daar brabbelde de man iets, wijzend naar een eiland. Toen we niet direct begrepen wat die bedoelde riep die “we go back, problem is navigation” terwijl er letterlijk 3 eilanden zijn en het super eenvoudig is. Meerdere malen gevraagd wat het probleem was, en waarom we niet mochten varen. Maar er was niet meer te communiceren met de eigenaar en we moesten vertrekken. Hij keek ons niet eens meer aan. Echt mens-onwaardig behandeld. Ik vind 1 ster eigenlijk al teveel. We read good reviews and went to the boat rental with a good feeling. Once there, the owner started very dominant and bossy with the explanation about the area. Something we do respect, since you saw the passion for his boats. Then we went on the boat and got an explanation about the boat. From there the man babbled something, pointing to an island. When we did not immediately understand what it meant, "we go back, problem is navigation" while there are literally 3 islands and it is super simple. Asked several times what the problem was and why we were not allowed to sail. But there was no more communication with the owner and we had to leave. He didn't even look at us anymore. Really treated unworthily. I think 1 star is already too much.

We booked a boat on Friday for Saturday and one hour before we arrive at the port so to receive the boat, we called him (as he told us to do) and he told us that it was to late so he booked the boat for someone else. This is unprofessional. This behaviour does not apply to a man with 30 years of experience as he initially present himself to us.

We also discovered he was the pilot of a sea plane that featured in our photo's of a fire in the hills 30 years ago! A great guy!

You can sail from 9 to 5 so thats a really long time. You'll get a map and great instructions. Dimitris learns you how to control the boat, which is really easy. He also gives safety instructions and numbers to call when you need help. So it's really safe. On the map you see all kinds of villages and private beaches to visit. You can feel the freedom. The best thing I've done during my holidays!
